The ART gallery.

I had a really nice visit to the Tauranga Art gallery. I saw some lovely art made about places in Tauranga from as far back as 1942. I was really fascinated with the Kauri wood sculptures and carvings and had a fun ride In the elevator. what a neat place to go.

Cooking fritters

I made corn fritters with my friends and got to take five home to share with family.

I celebrated my birthday with my Arohanui friends, I really liked the chocolate cake!

fishing

ON outings over the last two weeks i have been fishing at Memorial park and also Chapel street bridge. I was really excited to give it a go. At chapel street i got huge nibbles on my line, only the hook was a little too big, we will make sure we get it next time!!

I enjoy making the sticky "slip", it's a mix of clay and water and today I used it to stick the handle on my lid.
