 Today I helped make Christmas decorations for mum as a gift. I thought green fabric  and red buttons would be a good idea.

 I have Helped design and direct a group painting project in arts and crafts. We talked about our favourite country and western music and paintings backdrops for our Christmas party. The part has a country and western theme so these should be pretty cool for photos!

Today J watched a very interesting nature documentary on Australian animals like Kangaroos, Quakers, Eagles and crocodiles.

I am creating art pieces  for my personal book and looking through magazines.  Its maori language this week

Tactile Treats

 IN Tactile we were looking at different foods and the textures of them. Some were smooth, some were crunchy, some were hard and some were grainy. I likes the flaxseeds and the apple.

Nature Studies

 With all the rain 🌧 that we are having, we decided to learn a bit about snails and other animals that like the rain. I enjoyed learning about the snails!

Muppets movie

 Today is fun friday and I enjoyed watching the Muppets movie with a nice cuppa herbal tea and some popcorn!

 I  am playing Simon Says today during music 🎶. I am really good at it!

 Today I listened to an audio book about Herrings and their journey  through the ocean. While I listened I sat in a room which looked I was under the water with the fish. 

Playdough

 I am enjoying working with playdough. I like rolling and squishing it and trying to make snakes 🐍 

Bird watching

 

I enjoyed bird watching at the lakes and feeding them crackers!

Random act of kindness

 I enjoy making posies and dropping them to people that we think deserve flowers, here we are dropping a bunch to Oropi school who let us use their dunk chair on our water sports day

Fishing

 In sensory today I listened to audio books by Matt hays about fishing. We created a fishing theme. 

Rubbing Away

 I am really enjoying doing some crayon rubbing with leave and bark from a park.

Piano star

 I am a musical wizz! I chose to play the piano 🎹 today and I am really good!

Wolves

 Today in exploring nature I am learning all about wolves.  Did you know that wolves can have up to 5 pups at a time?

Sports day

 I had a good time playing different games for our sports day inspire of the rain. I really liked the ice slide trying to knock the buckets over.
