Being helpful

I went on a trip to the Bethlehem pottery centre to pick up the pottery that had come out of the kiln and was ready to bring back to the centre. I helped unpack the creations and put them in the gallery. 

Claywork

Today I have been busy.I had an outing to Bethlehem Pottery to collect and drop off our pots.I met a friend from the past...Ann Pritchard,the mother of Steven who I went to school with at Kaka Street.Later I made a square plate in pottery and used our stamps to make a pattern.I take my work seriously but it makes me smile too!!

Greerton Library

We went to the official opening of the new library.We battled the cold wind to hear choir sing and the see the ribbon cut...there were crowds of people and a long queue to get in.We will return soon on a quieter day.Its a big new building with lots of books and Windows.

Finishing a project

Over the last few weeks I have designed, drawn, and now created pottery. It was really cool to see my ideas turn into something In Front of my eyes. 

Pottery class

I am in Nicky's pottery class now.  I've been I've been drawing and colouring things that I might make out of clay.  I use many colours for my drawings.

I like the rolling of my clay.
