Hash Browns

 Today in cooking we made Hash Browns! I helped get the ingredients and mix it up. It was quite lovely but I only needed one.

Memorial park

Last Friday we had such a fun session visiting memorial park with my outing group. I found a nice bench in the shade and looked out at the view. Before long I had a whole group of friends around who wanted to sit with me too. It was nice to sit and chat and enjoy a beautiful summer day with the people I love. 

 

Sensory

 

We explored so many sounds like the doonk and the thunk of the typewriter,  the thumping of the windows closing, and the pssssh of the fountain and the hoses outside. There are so many loud and soft sounds around us

Helping out

I have been helping out around at Arohanui. I usually sit and read my book but yesterday I was feeling extra generous. I am very good at cleaning.
